During Eid al-Adha, MARTI volunteers made sure not to forget about those in need. The meet cut for Eid went to 200 families in need.
Members of our Marti community came together to donate 501 pounds of food to the Howard food bank.
From May 21st to 23rd we held a fun and exciting summer camping trip.
Youth summer camp for middle and high school students. July 10th- July 17th
Maryland senator Ben Cardin came together with members of our community in order to learn more about us.
To celebrate mothers day our community handed out roses to mothers
on June 6th we held a fun and exciting cooking class in which members of our community taught 10 people how to cook food from the Turkish culture.
All of our preparations for summer camp have been completed and we will start on July 5th. Our summer program will consist of classes held at MARTI every weekend.
For our third blood drive, 30 people volunteered to donate their blood for red cross. We will be having a fourth blood drive on July 17th and anyone who wants to donate their blood is welcome to come and do so.

Interfaith Committee held a discussion on preventive medicine and hygiene in Abrahamic faith traditions. The women picture is pastor Gayle Annis-Forder of the Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church. A Rabbi and Imam were also present in this discussion.
